Balcony & Roof Terrace Repairs

A balcony or roof terrace over a living space is really a flat roof you walk on, with extra details that make it harder to keep watertight: a door threshold, balustrade fixings, tiles or decking on top, and drainage that has to cope with heavy rain.

We repair and re-waterproof balconies and terraces on houses and flats, tracing the leak to its source and using seamless GRP or liquid-applied systems with a non-slip finish.

Balcony problems we help with

  • Leaks into the room or ceiling below
  • Failed waterproofing under tiles or decking
  • Cracked, crazed or worn walking surfaces
  • Ponding water and poor falls
  • Blocked or undersized outlets
  • Leaks at door thresholds and wall junctions

Repair or replace?

If the leak traces to one detail and the deck is dry and sound, a local repair is often enough. If leaks keep returning, the deck is soft, or water ponds across the surface, full re-waterproofing with corrected falls is usually the better long-term answer.
